(Stocking Pop-up)

Haven’t made a penny spinner OR a slimline card in a while. The length (in this case, width) really gave me space to put in two Stocking Pops comfortably.

With this card I wanted to play with embossing folder…after all, that’s what enticed me into the world of crafting. And I’ve been diligently collecting them, but haven’t touched them at all. So I studied some technique on YouTube and used that for the cover.

I’ve also been stamping and heat embossing everything lately. I told myself I cannot buy any more embossing powders until I at least use up one little jar. Then I now truly appreciate patterned paper. I used Kristina Werner’s plaid stencil builder this time. Sure, I got all inky and it was quite fun…but so much work for something I usually take for granted, phew~

This card feels quite festive and really made me smile everytime that pile of snowflake rolls around…I’m so easily entertained.
