POPCORN EXPLOSION BOX

(Popcorn)

This idea came quickly to me the other day. I was thinking, “Poporn, pop…corn, pop…POP!” It occurred to me that the Small Scenes Bam Boxes could be small enough to pass off with the popcorn attached to them. If I made a bunch of them then they can make an explosion box (that will delight and really annoy the recipient lol)!

The problem was how and where to contain them, a popcorn box wouldn’t work. Then I thought Jiffy Pop, but couldn’t figure out how to make that work. SO I went back to the basic, and decorated the Slider Box. I attempted to make the color sort of like microwave popcorn, but i don’t think that idea came through.

I had added a Surprise Cube beneath the ten “popcorn” pieces as a secondary launcher, to make sure the all pop out. It’s quite satisfying, even the sound of the popping sounds similar to real popcorn (I left the audio on in the video clip). And it’s easy to make, you should totally try it! (Youtube clip below)
